What are GlowSprouts?
GlowSprouts are LED-powered sprout hair clips designed to light up your look at festivals, raves, concerts, after-parties, and much more. It’s the sprout you already love - upgraded to shine after the sun goes down.
How long do the batteries last?
Each GlowSprout lasts approximately 10-15 hours of continuous use depending on temperature and usage. That’s enough for a full festival day or a full night set. The standard batteries that come with the GlowSprouts are not the strongest. Please click the link below if you want better batteries to last longer. They are cheap and very easy to replace.
Where can I purchase new batteries?
Replacing the batteries is easy. If you are having trouble locating them at a nearby store, you can purchase them on Amazon here.
Are the batteries replaceable?
Yes. GlowSprouts use replaceable alkaline button cell batteries which are very low-cost. When brightness starts to dim, simply replace the batteries with 3 LR626 alkaline button cells and you’re ready to glow again.
How do I turn it on and off?
There is a small switch located at the base of the LED housing. Flip the switch to activate the glow. We recommend turning it off between sets to maximize battery life.
Are GlowSprouts safe in the rain?
GlowSprouts are lightly water-resistant and can handle light rain, sweat, and festival mist. They are not fully waterproof, so avoid submerging them in water or exposing them to heavy downpours.
How do they attach to your hair?
Each GlowSprout uses a lightweight clip that secures comfortably in braids, ponytails, loose hair, or even hats and visors. They are designed to stay secure while dancing and moving through crowds.
Are they heavy?
Not at all. GlowSprouts are lightweight and designed for all-day comfort so you can wear them from sunset to afterparty.
Where do you ship?
We currently ship within the United States & Canada, with other International shipping destinations coming soon. If you are interested in shipping to specific country, just contact us and we can do a custom order and shipment. NOTE: International shipping may include duties and import fees that GlowSprouts does not cover.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days. Standard U.S. shipping generally arrives within 3-5 business days after processing.
Please note that GlowSprouts is a small business, and shipping times may vary depending on order volume and seasonal demand. We truly appreciate your patience as we work hard to fulfill every order as quickly and carefully as possible. Tracking information will be provided once your order ships.
Do you offer bundles?
Yes. You can mix and match two sprouts to receive a bundle discount. We also offer multi-color packs so you can rotate looks or share with friends. Our 3-packs are perfect for festival weekends.
Are new colors or products coming?
Yes. This is just the beginning. We launched with Neon Nature (Green), Blush Bloom (Pink), and Lunar Bloom (Blue), and more sprout designs and LED accessories are already in development. Stay tuned!
Returns & Exchanges
At GlowSprouts, every product is tested to ensure it arrives ready to shine. Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept general returns or exchanges. However, if your GlowSprout arrives defective or stops working, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number, a brief description of the issue, and a photo or video. All requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Before reaching out, we recommend making sure the sprout is securely attached to the base and that the batteries are fresh and properly aligned. Is there a way to make my sprout more secure?
GlowSprouts are designed to stay securely attached. All GlowSprouts have a tiny bit of clear putty inside the hole where the sprout will be inserted, this is by design. Please press your sprout very firmly into the hole, not once, but twice. The firmer you press them in, the better the hold will be. If you want extra hold (especially for head-banging on the rail), you can add a small dab of clear glue before inserting the sprout into the base. Just keep in mind this may make it permanent and limit your ability to swap sprout designs in the future.
Are GlowSprouts safe?
GlowSprouts use low-voltage LED components and enclosed alkaline button cell batteries. They are designed as a cosmetic accessory and are not intended for children under 12. Keep away from small children and pets due to small battery components.
